Prof. Dr. Erdal Aktan
Gynecology and Obstetrics / IVF Responsible Physician
Prof. Dr. Erdal Aktan completed his medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine and received his specialization training at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital.
He completed his advanced training in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in 1994 at the Sackler School of Medicine, Sheba Medical Center in Israel.
Between 1999 and 2000, he received IVF training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, specializing further in assisted reproductive treatments.
He began his professional career at Denizli Baklan Health Center and served as a Medical Lieutenant at Antalya B-Type Military Dispensary. He later worked at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
From 2000 to 2012, he worked at Özel Ege Tüp Bebek Merkezi, and from 2012 until 2024, he continued his work at İzmir Tınaztepe University Özel Buca Hospital IVF Center.
Prof. Dr. Aktan has authored numerous national and international scientific publications in the fields of IVF treatments and women’s health. He continues to apply his academic expertise to offer his patients the most up-to-date and effective treatment options.
