Vinu Karukayil Ravi completed his bachelor’s degree at Mar Athanasius College in 2018, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Embryology at JSS Medical College, Mysuru, in 2020.
In 2022, he completed his second Master’s in Human Clinical Embryology and Assisted Conception at the University of Dundee.
He began his professional career as a Trainee Jr. Embryologist in Bengaluru, India, between 2019 and 2020. During this time, he was responsible for managing the andrology laboratory, receiving training in various embryology procedures.
From 2021 to 2022, Vinu worked as a Jr. Embryologist at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi, India. Here, he managed both the embryology and andrology laboratories and assisting senior embryologists with procedures.
Since January 2025, he has been working as an Embryologist at British Cyprus IVF Hospital.
His academic projects include “The Effects of Smoking and Alcohol Use on Seminal Parameters” and “A Review of the Utility of Home Sperm Testing Devices in Scotland.”
