Berkay Akçay Senior Embryologist

Berkay Akçay is an experienced embryologist with a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Haliç University (2012) and a Master’s degree in Clinical Embryology from Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University (2017).

He began his career as a Junior Embryologist at Bahçeci Health Group’s Fulya IVF Laboratory and later gained international experience as Director of the IVF Laboratory at Al Waziria Hospital in Baghdad.

In 2021, he successfully completed the Embryology Laboratory Supervisor Certification Program at the American Hospital, earning official certification. Since then, he has worked as Director of the IVF Laboratory at Bahçeci Umut IVF Center.

He currently serves as Senior Embryologist at the British IVF Center in Northern Cyprus.
